Cebu Escapade

Before I start writing anything, I realized that I miss blogging. It felt like I was not able to write for such a long time. Guess, I have been doing so many things these past few weeks; not to mention my all piled up and never ending write-ups to do. But anyway, there is no place for complaining. Whining is also not allowed. For the month of April, at least I was able to get my own short yet adventurous escapade. This time, the destination is the Queen City of the South- Cebu.

There is one reason why I want to go here. I seriously want to meet him in person. That person is no other than Lapu-lapu. Lol i just felt like I needed to have a doze of historical antidote that can help me realize what I have really wanted for my career. Funny how my Lapu lapu encounter brought back several high school memories where I used to give this codename to someone whom I considered as my first love.lol. I am happy we are still friends after all.

I really enjoyed my city tour. Lots of delicious foods can be found anywhere. Cebuanos are very nice, hospitable and kind. Aside from that, I seriously think that they are the best singers ever. Here are just some of my travel photos. I am actually writing this blog in the wee hours of the morning when insomnia seems to take the wits out of me but still kept me awake. So sorry for too much non-sense but I hope my captured photos would say it all. ;)

This place would show historical roots of the place which bring back the previous Spanish era.

I was really amazed how a certain group of American soldiers were able to preserve this flag.

There is actually a fountain inside the confines of the church. Very nice.

There is no doubt that Cebuanos are really religious.

Over-all, I would rate this trip a 4.5/5. Almost perfect if not for the delayed flight and other minor mishaps I encountered.
