| Always go for the long haul... |

hard for something, you will get it, or perhaps something better.”
Remembering
what my big bro would always tell me is something that would keep me going
whenever I just feel too tired and weary from everything. And he is right,
nothing worth having comes easy. Whether it is your dream, love, or even the
petty things that you’ve always wanted and you cannot seem to have, you cannot
just sit all day, pray and look into wilderness of the sky to get something you
have always dreamed about.
But let’s face it, the
road is never going to be that easy. There will come to a point where you have
to face not one, not two but a lot of divergent roads and you have to choose
which way to go. Lots of times, I would end up confused, muddleheaded and in
complete disarray. Yet, in my mind, I know what I have always wanted to do and
to achieve. So even if I am going out of the mainstream, even if I am not
following the crowd, I know my heart will lead me to that place where I should
go. In life, we cannot just follow where everyone goes. We always do not have
to fit in. What is important above all is that you love what you do, you are
happy with it, you contribute something to society and you have personal
growth.
The same thing goes
for relationships with people- Relationship with friends, lovers and family. No
matter how things get rough and rocky. Even if you will have to deal with conflicts,
a series of debates, misunderstandings and fights, you cannot give up on them. At
least on the romantic side, I’m benefitted of the fact that I am a woman. Women
can only go as far as the men can go. If they give up then what can women do?
On a whim, at least
it is much easier to find a solution for the petty things that you have always
wanted. Either you choose to finally let it go or do something to get it. The
choices are pretty easy. But if it has
something to do with what you will do all your life or even the person you will
be committing to for a lifetime, it almost the same. You have to make a choice
and stand by it.
My choice now is that
I will not give up and I will not be shaken.
Dreams- I know I am getting there.
I can have it, maybe not at all at the same time but I will have it.
Love- I am
still not giving up on you. So please don’t give up on me too. J If I come too late,
chances are I am in need of saving lol.
Petty things- A chocolate ice cream and pizza will do. Haha

My choices can either
be right or wrong, but today is definitely not the day to identify which one is
either of the two. Luckily, I live for the present. The future has too many
worries and you cannot allow the past to haunt you. Just keep fighting. Keep going! Aja!
