The euphoria of the love
month is almost coming to an end. From the Chinese New Year celebration to
Valentines day and even the usual days that went by, I got the chance to learn
many things, ponder some thoughts and definitely, appreciate the beauty of life
a little bit more.
Chinese New Year
As I embrace the Chinese
New Year, my hopes are once again refueled. There are still a lot of things to
be accomplished. For years, I’ve been holding back. Now, I am starting to
come out in full blast. This is the only chance I have n and I am willing to
give it my best to make my dreams come true. I don’t know what awaits me once I
take the exam next year. Everything seems to coalesce with uncertainty but I am
counting on my faith.
Talk About Cramming
Who says this month is all
about love and love? Haha Just when everyone else is out on a date, I was also
dating. I had to date my books, my papers and my assignments that were all
piled up.

Valentines: Gifts and
Surprises
When all people seem to be
in frenzy with Valentine’s day, I got to have my own funny and roller
coaster version of Valentine’s. This year turned out to be another
unpredictable day. It’s nice to know when someone appreciates you and when you
get to receive nice presents.

Through the Eyes of Love
Then again, just like most of us, we
appreciate the gifts, the gestures and the honest intentions. Yet, we all look
for that magic, that sincerity. I know I might sound cynical up to the point that some of my
friends would actually say that Im allowing the chances to pass.
Eversince, I’m not a fan of guys who are too good looking and those who have skyrocketing net worth lol except for my crushes haha.
Of course, I would love to have
someone who has these things. But in my eyes, I hope to find and be with
someone who:
- loves God more than me,
our kind of love can always be short sighted. But if the guy loves God more
than me then he also knows to love the way how God loves us, something that is
based on sincerity, respect and faith.
- does not treat me as a
woman of the weaker sex, I want to be with a guy who is secured of himself
and will treat me as his equal, as his partner.
- accepts me for who I am
and for who I am not. No one will ever be perfect. We all have our bad sides.
But when the person learns to accept you for you are and love all the aspects
of your personality and character, it is something that holds you together.
- I get to share my life
with him, the things I love, the things I hate and just about anything under
the sun.
Lastly, I hope to find
someone who has the heart that can love, the hands that can hold me through my
strongest and weakest times, the eyes that can see the real beauty in me and the
faith that can lead us to grow more and be better.

Before the month finally
ends, allow me to share one of the cheesiest and most romantic proposals ever.
Dear future husband, I am not expecting too much but I would love to have a nice
and creative wedding proposal from you. (haha I wish I know who that person is)
