Free Will VS Destiny

"When you really want something, the whole universe conspires to help achieve it."- Paul Coelho, The Alchemmist

In life, one would often talk about destiny; of allowing things to happen and take place. Though I myself believe in serendipity and destiny, I still think that things happen because of the choices that we make though sometimes there are things that really happen when we least expect it,something that we seem to have no control. In which case i would assert that I am a 90% free will and 10% destiny believer lol.

Last week marked my more-time-more-movies-to-watch-leisure-coupon for one day.haha. Its a good stress reliever though. Ironic but as much as I want to stay away from watching romance related movies I ended up spending the dime on them. Dunno if I unconsciously still loves watching them or I just dont have the choice,it has always been a sought-after theme.

Just Go With It
"Are you running from something that you want or from something you're afraid to want?"
Ive always loved adam sandler movies and this one is another must-watch movie. It will make you laugh like never before. ;) But most importantly, it teaches you when to just let go of things and to finally decide and make a stand. Its too bad that we fail to see people in a different light. Sometimes in our endless search for that one great love and all the superficial adventures that comes along with it, we fail to see that the person we've been looking for is just in front of us.

The Adjustment Bureau

This movie starring Matt Damon and emily blunt captured my attention once again. At first, I was dubious whether i would enjoy this movie because the setting is just dull and cloudy; too serious for me. AS events continue to unfold, I cant keep my eyes off the screen.

geez. I dont know how Matt Damon's character in the movie waited for 3 years, riding the same bus, doing his morning routine everyday just to catch a glimpse of Emily Blunt, in betting his chances of seeing the woman he has been wanting to have all his life. His efforts might seem cycnical and futile, but then eventually even fate would take his side. Even if his own fate would not allow him to be with her, he dared to change it.
